As a speaker at Autodesk University 2011, I was informed the other day that there were some open spots for more un-conference sessions. Un-conference sessions are smaller sessions where attendants have open discussions around a topic, with the presenter serves as moderator and takes notes.
I have applied for one of the open spots and my session has been approved. The session code and name are CP9222-U Improving the Usability of the AutoCAD Civil 3D API, and it will be a great opportunity for you to provide me with direct feedback about the state of the API, what things work, and what things do not work and you would like to see improved.
Ultimately, my goal is to come out of the session with a set of bullet points around topics we should start to concentrate on and do some usability studies. This will also be a good session to understand what API usability means and give your perspective.
If you are coming to AU, I would like to encourage you to sign for this session, so we can start the discussion. Also, make sure to revisit the Class Catalog for new sessions that might have been added recently.
See you at AU,
