AU 2011 starts a week from today, and I will be teaching a class about the Alignment and Profile .NET API. The class covers the basics of the Alignment and Profile objects structures and talks about how work with these objects and their entities.
If you are coming to AU, I encourage you to attend this class. It should be very interesting and will uncover some of the issues people run into when working with Alignments and Profiles through the .NET API. Some of you will not be able to attend the conference or may decide to attend some of the many other interesting classes scheduled at the same time as mine, so I decided to post the materials on-line and make them available to you. You can download the materials from here: “Understanding the Alignments and Profiles API in Civil 3D.”
I hope you enjoy the materials and feel free to ask any questions or provide any feedback you might have.
P.S. Some of you may not be able to attend the conference, but you are more than welcome to download the materials and go over the class on your own. You should also attempt the “C3D API Challenge” and submit your solutions. You will find all the details in the materials handout.
